Some Southeastern Railway trains will be cancelled, diverted or replaced by buses due to planned engineering work t his weekend. 

The work will affect trains on both Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25.

We have compiled a full list of the works taking place so that you can plan your journey this weekend.

Buses replace trains between Denmark Hill and Bromley South via Beckenham Junction (Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25)

Engineering work is taking place between Brixton and Shortlands, closing all lines between Herne Hill and Beckenham Junction.

Bromley South Line: Trains between London Victoria and Orpington will be diverted, calling additionally at Denmark Hill, and running non-stop between Denmark Hill and Shortlands.

Sole Street Line: Trains between London Victoria and Ramsgate via Chatham will be retimed to leave London Victoria earlier. Trains between London Victoria and Dover Priory via Chatham will be retimed to leave London Victoria earlier on Saturday only.

Maidstone East Line: On Saturday only, trains between London Victoria and Ashford International will be retimed to leave London Victoria earlier.

Brixton station will be closed all day.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

Denmark Hill and Bromley South calling at all stations via Beckenham Junction except Brixton.

Ticket Acceptance:

You can use London Underground at no extra cost between London Victoria and Brixton.

Buses replace late night trains between Ebbsfleet International / Canterbury West and Ashford International (Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25)

Engineering work is taking place between in the Ashford International area, closing all lines overnight from 11pm until the end of service.

Saturday, February 24:

High Speed via Ashford International:

The 10.37pm and 11.37pm London St Pancras International to Margate services will run non-stop from Ebbsfleet International to Margate via Faversham, then continue to Broadstairs and Ramsgate after Margate.

The 11.04pm London St Pancras International to Ramsgate via Dover, and the 12.12am London St Pancras International to Ashford International services will only run between London St Pancras International and Ebbfleet International.

Th 10.07pm Ramsgate to London St Pancras International will only run between Ramsgate and Ashford International.

From 11pm until the end of service buses replace trains between:

Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International

Connecting trains will connect with the bus service and run between Ashford International and Ramsgate via Dover, and between Ashford International and Margate via Canterbury West.

A connecting train will connect with the bus service at Ebbsfleet International and run to London St Pancras International via Stratford International.

Sunday, February 25:

High Speed via Ashford International:

Trains between London St Pancras International and Margate will not run.

Services between London St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Dover will only run between London St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International.

A reduced service will run between London St Pancras International and Ebbsfleet International. 

Additional trains will run between Canterbury West and Margate.

Paddock Wood Line: Trains between London Charing Cross and Ramsgate via Canterbury West will only run between London Charing Cross and Ashford International.

Accessible replacement buses will run between:

  • Ebbsfleet International and Ashford International
  • Canterbury West and Ashford International (non-stop)
  • Canterbury West and Ashford International, calling at all stations.

No Southeastern services at London Cannon Street or via Greenwich (Sunday, February 25)

Engineering work is taking place between London Cannon Street, London Bridge and Greenwich, and some lines through New Cross.

Woolwich Line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Greenwich will not run. Additional trains will run between London Charing Cross and Dartford via Woolwich.

Bexleyheath line: Trains between London Cannon Street and Slade Green via Bexleyheath will not run. Trains between London Victoria and Dartford will run normally.

Accessible replacement buses will run between Lewisham and Charlton via New Cross and Greenwich.

Ticket Acceptance:

You can use London Underground between London Victoria, London Charing Cross, Embankment, London Waterloo, Southwark and London Bridge at no extra cost.

You can use Docklands Light Railway between Lewisham and Greenwich at no extra cost.
