A body has been found near Northfleet station in the search for an 82-year-old man.
On Thursday afternoon (February 8) Kent Police attended the scene where a man’s body was located.
Formal identification has not yet taken place but the family of Anthony Brown have been informed.
Mr Brown was missing from his home in Reading and was last seen in Kent on January 18.
Earlier in the search police revealed his car had broken down on the M25.
He was then seen on CCTV using a walking stick after visiting Bluewater shopping centre.
Kent said the death is not being treated as suspicious.
A report will be prepared for the coroner.
