Five men have been taken to hospital and arrested after a disturbance in Dartford.

The incident happened in Dartford High Street just before 6.20pm yesterday (February 6).

Officers were called to the scene and found five people injured with cuts and bruises.

They were taken to hospital for treatment and later arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.

The suspects, three local men aged 26, 27, and 29, and two men, 26 and 28, from Coventry and West Midlands remain in police custody while an investigation into the circumstances continue.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called at 6.18pm on Tuesday 6 February 2024 to a report of a disturbance in Dartford High Street.

“Officers attended the scene where five men were arrested on suspicion of a public order offence.

“The suspects, three local men aged 26, 27 and 29; and two men from Coventry, West Midlands aged 26 and 28, were treated in hospital for injuries including cuts and bruises.

“They were later discharged and taken into custody while an investigation continues into the circumstances.
