Police have released a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to after a woman was targeted by a suspected pickpocket.

On Tuesday, January 23, at 7.10pm a woman was leaving Crayford Railway Station and heading towards the car park.

She was approached by a man who attempted to reach into her jacket, British Transport Police said.

She pushed the man off and he fled out of the car park.

Investigating officers believe the man in the CCTV image may have information that could help with their investigation.

Anyone who recognises him is asked to contact BTP by texting 61016, or by calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 604 of 23 January.

Information can also be given anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
