FOSTER carers are needed to help the region's young people. Kent County Council (KCC) is using National Fostering Fortnight, which begins on June 4, as an opportunity to raise awareness of the crucial role which fostering plays in the often difficult lives of young people.
KCC needs foster carers for children in both the short and long term and over the weekends or in school holidays.
Professional supervision and training is provided by the council along with the opportunity for foster carers to pursue an NVQ in Caring For Children.
