A woman has been taken to hospital after a crash with a car in Sydenham.

Emergency services were called to Lawrie Park Road at 11.51am to reports that a pedestrian had been hit by a car.

A woman in her 50s was treated by London Ambulance Service at the scene before being taken to hospital.

Her condition is currently unknown.

No arrests have been made.

If anyone has any information, police ask that they call 101 stating CAD2668/26JAN24.

A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “On Friday 26 January at 11:51hrs police were called to Lawrie Park Road, SE26 after a pedestrian was hit by a car.

“Officers attended the scene alongside the London Ambulance Service (LAS) who treated a woman in her 50s before taking her to hospital.

“We await an update on her condition.

“At this early stage, there have been no arrests.

“If anyone has any information, please call police on 101 stating CAD2668/26JAN24.”
