A man was fined £923 after he almost caused a crash while driving at 89mph on the 50mph A20 Sidcup Bypass.
Mohd Ahamed, 46, of Goddington Lane in Orpington, was behind the wheel of a Porsche Macan on May 27 last year.
At around 8pm he cut through a two-vehicle length gap in traffic, a court heard.
This caused the vehicle behind to break to avoid a crash.
A speed camera caught him travelling at 89mph.
Under the single justice procedure Ahamed was found guilty of speeding and driving without due care and attention.
On January 2 he appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court where he was given six points on his licence.
He was fined £923, told to pay a £369 surcharge and £110 in costs.
