Two teenagers have been taken to hospital after a double stabbing in Gravesend.

Police were called to reports that two teens were assaulted near Pilots Place and Bentley Street at 3.10am yesterday (January 1).

Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service crews attended and found an 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy injured.

They were both taken to a London hospital where their injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for Kent Police said: “Kent Police was called to a report that two teenagers had been assaulted near Pilots Place and Bentley Street, Gravesend at 3.10am on Monday 1 January 2024.

“Officers attended along with South East Coast Ambulance Service and an 18-year-old man and a 15-year-old boy were found to have sustained injuries consistent with stab wounds.

“They were both taken to a London hospital and neither of the victims' injuries are believed to be life-threatening.

“An investigation to establish the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing and officers remain in the area carrying out enquiries.
