A pedestrian has been taken to hospital following a crash in Catford where the driver fled the scene.
Yesterday (December 27) at around 7pm, police were called to the crash involving a car and pedestrian in Thornsbeach Road.
The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital.
Police have confirmed that his injuries are not life-threatening.
The driver of the car failed to stop at the scene after the crash and police are conducting enquiries to find them.
Any witnesses should contact Metropolitan Police on 101 quoting the reference CAD 4941/27Dec.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 19:01hrs on Wednesday, 27 December to reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian in Thornsbeach Road, SE6.
“Officers attended along with paramedics from the London Ambulance Service and London's Air Ambulance.
“The pedestrian, a man in his 20s, was taken to hospital - his condition is not life threatening.
“The driver of the car failed to stop following the collision and enquiries are ongoing to locate them.
“Any witnesses are asked to call 101 quoting CAD 4941/27Dec.”
