A new planning application has been submitted to Greenwich Council for a new B&M store in Thamesmead.
The application, which was submitted on December 1, proposes the new store to replace the former Wilko site in Twin Trumps Way.
The plan includes an internally LED illuminated fascia sign, a non-illuminated entrance sign and a non-illuminated deliveries sign as a part of the build.
It is unknown when a decision will be made regarding the outcome of the application.
After failing to secure a takeover that would save the business, Wilko fell into administration on August 10.
Wilko’s Thamesmead branch, which shut for good on September 25, was one of 400 stores in the UK to close its doors.
There are currently more than 700 B&M stores across the UK, according to its website.
