Planned engineering work will take place on certain Southeastern Railway lines this week, closing some lines.

The work will be taking place from Monday, December 4 and Friday, December 8, closing some lines and causing some trains to be replaced by buses. 

On Wednesday, December 6 no Southeastern trains will run as ASLEF workers take strike action.

We have compiled all of the information about this work so that you can properly plan your travel this week.

Monday only (December 4)

From 11pm until the end of service, accessible buses will replace trains between Tonbridge and Wadhurst / Hastings.

Tuesday only (December 5)

From 11.40pm until the end of service accessible buses will replace trains between Tunbridge Wells and Hastings and will run between:

Tunbridge Wells and Battle (calling at Wadhurst only)

Battle and Hastings (calling at all stations except Crowhurst)

Tunbridge Wells and Robertsbridge (calling at all stations)

Battle and Crowhurst (mini bus shuttle)

Monday and Thursday (December 4 and 7)

The 11.40pm London Victoria to Ramsgate service will be replaced by accessible buses between:

Sittingbourne and Herne Bay (calling at all stations except Teynham, for Teynham, use alternative train services)

Herne Bay and Ramsgate (calling at all stations)

The 11.50pm London St Pancras International to Faversham service will be replaced by accessible buses between Ebbsfleet International, Gillingham and Faversham.

Monday, Tuesday and Thursday (December 4, 5 and 7)

From 11.50pm until the end of service, services between Bromley North and Grove Park will not run.

Passengers will be able to use London Bus routes 126 and 261 at no extra cost between Bromley North and Grove Park.

Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (December 5, 7 and 8)

From 12.15am until the end of service, services between London Victoria and Orpington via Beckenham Junction will be diverted to run non stop between London Victoria and Shortlands.

Accessible rail replacement buses will run between:

London Victoria / Herne Hill and Orpington via Beckenham Junction (calling at all stations except Brixton)

London Victoria and Bromley South (calling at all stations except Brixton)

If you are travelling to / from Brixton you can use London Underground between London Victoria and Brixton at no extra cost.

Wednesday and Friday (December 6 and 8)

From 1.15am until the end of service, accessible rail replacement buses will run between Slade Green and Dartford / Gravesend.

After 1am, the last train between London and Dartford via Bexleyheath will be diverted to Slade Green and connect with replacement bus services between Slade Green and Dartford / Gravesend.
