The following cases were heard at Bromley or Bexley Magistrates’ Courts on the week beginning November 13.

They include a woman who was caught carrying a hammer as a weapon, a stalker from Lewisham and several drunk drivers.

Tyrone Muir, 44, of Micheldever Road in Lewisham 

Pleaded guilty that on October 10 he harassed a woman by phoning her around 50 times and turning up at her workplace, and assaulting her. 

Granted bail until sentencing. 

Derrick Oliver, 62, of Stafford Road in Sidcup 

Pleaded guilty that on September 17 he assaulted a man in Bromley

Ordered to pay £85 costs and a £114 surcharge. 

Desmond Asuo, 44, of Denmark Road in South Norwood 

Pleaded guilty that on October 5 on Beckenham Hill Road in Bromley he drove while over the legal alcohol limit. 

Disqualified from driving for five years and fined £392. 

Leon Lewis, 36, of Queens Road in Lewisham 

Found guilty of stalking between March and June 2021 by leaving calls, messages and turning up at the victim’s relative’s homes. 

Granted bail until sentencing. 

James O’Connor, 31, of Baring Road in Lewisham 

Found guilty of assaulting and racially abusing a police officer in Lewisham on July 14. 

Given a community order including 100 hours of unpaid work. 

Bernard Bastien, 56, of Dartmouth Road in Bromley 

Pleaded guilty that last year in Beckenham he sent various electronic communications designed to cause distress or anxiety. 

Given a community order with 60 hours of unpaid work. 

Ebunolu Akintade, 42, of Rayon Close in Hackbridge 

Found guilty of stalking between August and October last year by repeatedly turning up at an address uninvited. 

Sent to crown court for sentence and granted bail. 

Louisa Deighton, 38, of Borkwood Park in Mitcham 

Pleaded guilty that on July 30 in Penge she was carrying a hammer in public and assaulted a man. 

Given a 16-week suspended sentence. 

Nicola Coke, 49, of Headley Drive in Croydon 

Pleaded guilty that on October 2 on Brownhill Road in Lewisham she drove while over the legal alcohol limit.   

Given a community order and disqualified from driving for two years. 

Jade Queen, 35, of Avery Hill in Greenwich 

Pleaded guilty that on June 4 in Lewisham she assaulted a police officer and was in possession of a kitchen knife in public. 

Given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for one year. 

Craig Mccarthy, 28, of Thames Road in Crayford 

Pleaded guilty that on July 3 he sent a text to a woman threatening to smash up her flat. 

Given a community order including 80 hours of unpaid work. 

Khyle Sullivan, 30, of no fixed address 

Pleaded guilty that on January 3 last year he destroyed a woman’s furniture. Also found guilty of assaulting a woman on four occasions in a domestic context in Woolwich. 

Given an eight-week prison sentence.
