A thief has appeared in court after he stole garden furniture from Homebase and £750 worth of products from Boots.

Bradley Sheehy, 35, of Saxville Road in Orpington, appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court after he pleaded guilty to three counts of theft.

The court heard that on April 24 he stole £800 worth of garden furniture from Homebase in Beckenham.

Then on June 23 he stole face creams and weight loss products worth £556 from Boots in Sidcup.

A month later he returned to Boots in Sidcup and stole a further £202 worth of face creams.

On November 15 Sheehy appeared in the court dock where he was given a one-year community order.

He was ordered to pay £758 in compensation to Boots and £750 compensation to Homebase.

Sheehy was also banned from both stores for one year.
