Barclays has confirmed the permanent closure of its bank branch in Eltham.
The bank in Eltham High Street will shut its doors for good on February 16, 2024.
The British bank found only 258 bankers use its Eltham branch regularly as the only way to do their banking.
It also revealed that 92 per cent of people who use the Eltham branch, also bank by using its online services.
The wave of closures comes as more bankers have turned to online and mobile banking, according to the Barclays website.
The nearest Barclays branches for Eltham bankers are in 93 Lewisham High Street and 5 Victory Parade, Plumstead Road.
The bank announced they will offer a support van and pop-up banks where you can get help and advice.
Customers can also access certain facilities at Post Office branches including cash and cheque deposits as well as checking their balance and withdrawing cash.
