A fake security guard has been hit with a £5,800 bill after he used a fraudulent licence to get a job at a high street casino.
Victor Uckechukwu Obi, 51, of Wordsworth Road in Welling, pleaded guilty to fraud which took place between June and October 2021.
The court heard that applied for a job at Admiral Casino under the name Jamiu Amokun, a licensed security operative.
However, the Security Industry Authority (SIA) licence he used was cloned.
Obi then claimed his name was a different SIA licence holder named Paul Okwufulueze.
Last Tuesday (October 17) Obi appeared at Bexley Magistrates’ Court where he was given a £1,538 fine.
He was also told to pay £3,000 in compensation and £1,300 in costs.
