A person has been taken to hospital after being hit by a train at New Eltham station.
A casualty on the tracks was reported to police just before 6pm yesterday (September 28).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.
The person was taken to hospital where their injuries are believed to be life-threatening.
The incident is not being treated as suspicious.
Southeastern trains at New Eltham station were cancelled as the incident was dealt with.
All services have since returned back to normal.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to the line in New Eltham at 5.57pm last night (28 September) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.
“Paramedics also attended and a person was taken to hospital with injuries which are believed to be life-threatening.
“The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
