There is no denying that us south Londoners love a night out at our local Wetherspoons pub.

Over the years we have seen many Wetherspoons across south London permanently close their doors.

In September 2022, the popular chain revealed that four of its pubs across south London were up for sale.

These were the Wrong Un in Bexleyheath, the Bankers Draft in Eltham, the Asparagus in Battersea, and the Capitol in Forest Hill.

Bankers Draft has since closed but the Wrong Un, the Asparagus, and the Capitol are still up for sale.
