A 13-year-old girl has been arrested after a woman in her 20s was stabbed in a home in Walworth.
The incident happened in Gaitskell House, Villa Street, at around 10.30am yesterday (September 12).
Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a woman injured.
She was taken to hospital for treatment where her condition was assessed as not life threatening or life changing.
A 13-year-old girl was arrested at a nearby address on suspicion of GBH and remains in custody.
Police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 10.30am on Tuesday, 12 September to reports of a woman stabbed at an address in Gaitskell House, Villa Street, SE17.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and a woman aged in her 20s was taken to hospital for treatment; her condition is not life threatening or life changing.
“A 13-year-old girl was arrested at a nearby address on suspicion of GBH and remains in custody.
“Enquiries into the circumstances continue.”
