Christmas has arrived in Lewisham as mince pies are already on the shelves in some supermarkets.
Twitter user @Love_SE4 posted a tweet that read “Christmas in Lewisham already” showing mince pies on the shelves in Sainsbury’s.
They also posted a photo of festive red bulls for sale already.
Commenters were sharing other places they have seen Christmas-themed items already on sale, such as Card Factory and M&S.
One commenter said: “Christmas crackers in Marks Spencer’s, mince pies in Sainsbury’s, Xmas cards in Card Factory.”
Another said: “It’s well-known Christmas starts on the 1st of September.”
