An unlawful encampment on a field in Bromley has prompted a police response.

A notice was issued by police for individuals to leave the site in Belmont Parade.

Officers have now confirmed they have left the area.

It added that Bromley Council is now in the process of clearing the site of litter.

Bromley MPS (@MPSBromley) tweeted: “After receiving reports of an unlawful encampment on Belmont Parade, police had issued a notice for them to leave.

“These individuals have now left the area.

“Bromley Council are in the process of clearing the site of litter.”
