After weeks of rain and cloud, many Londoners are excited to see that the weather is forecasted to pick up this week.

Despite there being some drizzle today, by the end of the week skies are set to be sunny and temperatures will soar.

According to the Met Office, the hottest day in London this week will be Friday, when it will be 25 degrees.

So, we have compiled everything you need to know about the weather to plan your week and enjoy the sun.

Monday (August 14)

Highs of 22 degrees.

Lows of 14 degrees.

The Met Office has forecasted some showers until around 1pm.

In the afternoon and evening, it will be cloudy but dry.

Tuesday (August 15)

Highs of 23 degrees.

Lows of 15 degrees.

Most of the day will be sunny with a few clouds, however at around 4pm there is likely to be some grey clouds and rain.

Wednesday (August 16)

Highs of 24 degrees.

Lows of 17 degrees.

Wednesday is set to be a sunny, warm day with clouds only starting to appear in the evening.

Thursday (August 17)

Highs of 24 degrees.

Lows of 17 degrees.

Much like Wednesday, Thursday is forecasted to be sunny and warm with a few clouds in the sky throughout the day.

Friday (August 18)

Highs of 25 degrees.

Lows of 19 degrees.

Friday is currently set to be the one of the hottest days of this week.

However, while there is no rain forecasted it will be cloudy throughout the day.

Saturday (August 19)

Highs of 25 degrees.

Lows of 17 degrees.

The Met Office predicts that it will be cloudy in the morning but in the afternoon the sun will come out.

It may rain slightly in the evening at around 7pm.

Sunday (August 20)

Highs of 25 degrees.

Lows of 16 degrees.

On Sunday, it will be sunny with some clouds throughout the day.
