Police have issued a statement after a car crashed into a lamppost in Eltham.
The incident happened on the A20 Sidcup Road just before 6.20am today (August 3).
Officers were called to the scene and road closures were put in place.
No serious injuries were reported following the incident.
The car has been recovered by police and closures were lifted shortly after 8am.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 6.19am on Thursday, 3 August to reports that a car had collided with a lamppost on the A20 Sidcup Road.
“No serious injuries were reported.
“Officers arranged for the car to be recovered and the road re-opened shortly after 8am.”
