A new afternoon tea experience is set to launch for one week in August, where guests can enjoy an afternoon tea surrounded by views of London.

The experience will be on offer for one week from August 7 until August 12 to mark Afternoon Tea Week, with three slots available to book in advance on the Thursday.

The experience will offer guests the chance to walk up the side of the famous London landmark to see 360-degree views of the city, spotting the likes of Greenwich, Canary Wharf and the Olympic Park.

Once guests reach the top they will be able to sit and enjoy an afternoon tea before making their way back down.

The afternoon tea will serve a mix of sandwiches, fresh scones, cakes, and Lipton’s Iced Tea to enjoy after their climb to the top of the famous landmark.

Afternoon tea is an age-old great British tradition, and this year Up at The O2 is quite literally taking this revered culinary ritual to new heights with the launch of its sky-high Afternoon Tea experience this August.

“We’re proud to be putting our very own sky-high twist on this much-loved British pastime, providing an Afternoon Tea that’s totally unique and stands above the crowd (52m above to be precise!).

“We’re sure this is going to be a sell out, so would encourage all Afternoon Tea aficionados to book in quick!”
