Two teens have been taken to hospital after a double stabbing in Orpington.

The incident happened outside the Premier Inn Hotel just after 11.30pm yesterday (June 28).

Officers, London Ambulance Service crews, and an air ambulance attended and found two teens injured.

They were both taken to hospital for treatment where one of them remains in a critical condition.

Two 17-year-old girls were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder.

They are currently in police custody.

A crime scene remains in place as officers continue to carry out enquiries.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 23:34hrs on Wednesday, 28 June to reports of a stabbing near to a hotel on The Walnuts, Orpington.

“Officers, the London Ambulance Service and London’s Air Ambulance all attended. Two men, both believed to be in their late teens, were found with stab injuries.

“The two men were taken to hospital where one man remains in a critical condition.

“A crime scene remains in place at the location as officers continue to carry out enquiries.

“Two girls, both aged 17, were arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to murder and are currently in police custody.”
