A woman has been taken to hospital following a crash in south east London.
Police were called to New Kent Road, at the junction with Elephant Road at around 10.30pm on Saturday, June 17, to reports of a crash.
A woman in her 30s was taken to an east London hospital where her condition was assessed as not life-changing.
The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit due to drugs, causing serious injury by dangerous driving and possession of Class B drugs.
A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 10.36pm on Saturday, 17 June to New Kent Road, junction Elephant Road SE1 following a road traffic collision.
“A woman in her 30s was transported to an east London hospital; her condition was assessed as not life-threatening or life-changing.
“The driver of the car was arrested on suspicion of driving whilst unfit through drugs, causing serious injury by dangerous driving, and possession of Class B.”
