On Thursday (June 1) at 9.42am, police were called to the scene of the car park of Efra Court in Homelands Drive where a man was found “unresponsive.”

The nearby Church Road was sealed off by police all day.

The man, aged in his 40s, was pronounced dead at the scene. A crime scene remains in place.

Officers believe they know the man’s identity, and enquiries to trace and notify his next of kin are underway.

Detectives from Met’s Special Crime Command are investigating, and are appealing for anyone who may have seen any suspicious activity to come forward, and for people in the area to check dash and doorbell camera footage.
