We’ve gathered everything you need to know about travelling with Southeastern today as RMT workers take industrial action.

RMT rail workers are striking today (June 2) and ASLEF rail workers will be taking industrial action on tomorrow (June 3).

As a result, Southeastern has announced that it will be operating a limited service today, with only 58 of its stations open.

Here’s everything you need to know:

Southeastern will be running a limited service on Friday and that some of its routes will be closed.

58 out of 180 stations are open today and there no replacement buses serving closed stations.

There are no services running from Charing Cross, Waterloo East or Cannon Street.

For passengers travelling to central London there will be services to London Bridge running from Dartford via Bexleyheath, Sidcup, or Woolwich.

Southeastern has said there will be no services beyond Dartford.

There will also be a service between London Bridge and Sevenoaks, however there are no services beyond Sevenoaks.

The service between London Victoria and Bromley South will run, with no services beyond Bromley South.

There will also be a service between St Pancras International and Ramsgate via Ashford.

Customers are being advised to check before they travel and to expect busier trains, with some potential disruptions to routes with later starts and earlier finishes.

Advance, anytime or off-peak tickets for Friday, June 2 can be used up to Tuesday, June 6.

If the ticket includes a journey on the London Underground, Southeastern has said it will not be valid on London Underground services on an alternative date of travel.

Customers can claim a full refund with no admin fee for an unused ticket, except for a season ticket, if passengers decide not to travel or their train is cancelled or disrupted.

You can request a fee-free change of journey or cash refund for all ticket types (other than season ticket) if the train was cancelled or delayed or rescheduled from that in the published timetable of the day after you have purchased a ticket.

If passengers are unable to make an outward journey due to strike action they can claim a refund on an outward or return ticket, even if the return journey is not affected by strike action.

Southeastern has said that if strike action is cancelled at short notice it may not be able to revert back to its normal timetable.
