A man in his 20s has been taken to hospital after a shooting in Erith.
The incident happened in Kale Road at around 9.50pm yesterday (May 25).
Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a man with a gunshot injury.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition was later assessed as not life-threatening.
No arrests have been made as police enquiries into the circumstances continue.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at approximately 21:50hrs on Thursday, 25 May to reports of a firearm discharge in the vicinity of Kale Road, Erith.
“Officers and London Ambulance Service attended and found a man, believed aged in his 20s, suffering a gunshot injury – he has been taken to hospital for treatment; his condition is not thought to be life threatening.
“No arrests; enquiries into the circumstances continue.
