A woman on TikTok has been reviewing hostels in London, as she is currently living in different ones across the city.

The account @lilexplores has posted a couple of videos, documenting her journey due to the current “crisis” of the London rental market.

On her latest viral video which currently has 1.1 million views, a caption reads “the London renting crisis means I’m currently living in hostels to go to work.”

@lilexplores gives viewers a tour of The Phoenix Hostel, the second one she has recently stayed at, giving it a “2/5 stars”.

She then shows a few dorms and bathrooms upstairs in a pub, with no kitchen and only a few appliances.

@lilexplores 🇬🇧 LONDON HOSTEL REVIEW 🇬🇧 Definitely a step down from last week’s hostel, particularly due to the lack of kitchen. Very cheap stay in London though! Fingers crossed I find a house soon 🤞 #london #londonhostels #hostelreview #backpacking #travellife #traveltok #travellife #londonlife #londontiktok #londonrenting #hostellife #hostelling ♬ Do It Better - Beachcrimes & Tia Tia

Moving on to show a small toilet cubicle, the next video caption reads “I mean I guess it does the job... You get what you pay for. Bit grimey but does work.”

Viewers also get an insight into the spacious bunk bed set up before @lilexplores praises the location of the hostel, saying “location perfect 5 mins from Marylebone".

It’s then revealed that this hostel costs £14 per night.

@lilexplores 🇬🇧 LONDON HOSTEL REVIEW🇬🇧 Another week, another hostel! Didn’t stay here for long at all but really liked the place and defiantely recommend-my favourite yet! Only drawback is the lack of kitchen if youre trying to make your own meals to save some money 💰 #placestovisit #londonrenting #hostelreview #travel #london #rentingcrisis #londonhostels #traveladventures #travellinguk #hostelling #uktravel #londonhousingcrisis #londontiktok #londonlife #londontiktok #hostellife #hostelvibes #hostelreview #wheretostay #traveltiktok #travelvlog #travellife ♬ I Ain’t Worried - Acoustic - OneRepublic
