A man has been arrested after being stabbed in the arm in Greenwich, and another man has also been arrested in connection with the incident.

Police were called just after 3.03pm on Monday (May 15) to Tunnel Avenue and a man was found with an injury to his arm.

He was taken to hospital where his condition was later assessed as not life-threatening.

The injured man was also arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage.

Another man was arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm and taken into custody.

Police enquiries into the incident continue.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 15:03hrs on 15 May to Tunnel Avenue SE10.

“A male was found with a knife injury to his arm.

“His condition was assessed as not life-threatening in hospital.

“He was also arrested on suspicion of affray, possession of an offensive weapon and criminal damage.

“Another male was arrested on suspicion of GBH and taken into custody.

“Enquiries continue.”
