Greenwich Summer Sounds festival is set to blend the best of food and culture with a star-studded line up of musical legends in July.

Greenwich Summer sounds festival will take place at the picturesque Old Royal Naval College in the heart of Maritime Greenwich this summer, offering multiple nights of music from Tuesday, July 4 to Saturday, July 8.

The first wave of headline artists has been revealed and first on the list is record producer, guitarist, and composer Nile Rodgers and CHIC, who will kick off the festivities on Tuesday, July 4.

On Thursday, July 6, Tom Jones will take the stage as the headline act with timeless hits such as "It's Not Unusual" and "What's New Pussycat".

English pop rock band Scouting For Girls will open for Tom Jones on the Thursday with a set packed full of their indie singalong anthems including She’s So Lovely, Elvis Ain’t Dead, and Heartbeat.

The newly announced Black Eyed Peas will be headlining on Friday 7 July featuring huge singles including I Gotta Feeling, Boom Boom Pow and My Humps.

The band will be supported by international Hedkandi producer and performer and O Beach resident saxophone artist Ellie Sax.

Closing the festival on Saturday, July 8 will be Leeds indie rockers Kaiser Chiefs singing anthems like "Ruby" and "Every Day I Love You Less and Less”. The band will be supported by indie rock band The View, who are best known for their 2003 single Same Jeans.

As well as the music lineup, Greenwich Summer Sounds promises an “unforgettable culinary experience”.

Attendees will have the opportunity to indulge in a variety of street food offerings and the festival will feature a “first-class banquet dining experience” in the Painted Hall, one of Europe's most spectacular Baroque interiors.

The festival is ran by IMG - the company behind popular music and cultural events such as The Big Feastival, Hampton Court Palace Festival, Taste of London, and Hyde Park Winter Wonderland.

Greenwich Summer Sounds aims to establish itself as a must-attend event in London's music and cultural calendar.

Tickets for Greenwich Summer Sounds will go on sale Monday, March 13 at 10am via See Tickets, with an exclusive pre-sale available for registered guests.
