The following cases were heard in Bexley and Bromley Magistrates’ Courts in the week starting May 8.

They include a man caught with in Greenwich with nunchucks and a knife, as well as a man who misused a blue badge.

Claude Spencer, 49, currently in HMP Wormwood Scrubs 

Pleaded guilty to entering as a trespasser at The Artworks workspace hub in Deptford with inent to steal. 

Given a six-week prison sentence as offence was aggravated by Spencer’s history of offending. 

Deschanel Prempeh-Aloya, 24, of Harrington Square in Camden 

Pleaded guilty to possession of nunchucks and a three-inch knife on Creek Road in Greenwich

Given a 174 day prison sentence. Weapons ordered to be destroyed. 

Leslie Kendall, 54, of Merton Lane in Sydenham 

Pleaded guilty to assaulting a prison officer by beating him. 

Given a six-month prison sentence. 

Stephen Addinall, 57, of Overdown Road in Catford 

Pleaded guilty to assault by beating against a man in Lewisham

Ordered to pay £453 in fines and costs. 

Eli Fletcher, 24, of Bannockburn Road in Plumstead 

Pleaded guilty to shop lifting perfume from House of Fraser in Maidston. 

Given an eight-week prison sentence suspended for one year.

Julian Anau, 28, of Admiral Street in Lewisham 

Found guilty of destroying a woman’s mobile phone. 

Given a community order including 150 hours of unpaid work. A restraining order was made. 

Michael Oyebamiji, 33, of Haverstock Court in Orpington 

Pleaded guilty to using someone's disabled parking badge. 

Ordered to pay £2,167 in fines and costs. 

Danny Swain, 37, of Plumstead Common Road in Plumstead 

Pleaded guilty to visiting home address of woman he was banned from contacting by court. He knocked on her door and shouted abuse at her. Also sent texts and left voice messages for her. 

Given a 20-week prison sentence.
