A 14-year-old boy is fighting for his life after a stabbing in Crystal Palace.

The incident happened in Crystal Palace Parade at the junction with Anerley Hill at 5.10pm yesterday (May 14).

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews attended and found a boy injured.

He was taken to hospital where his condition was initially unknown.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police confirmed today (May 15) that he is in critical condition.

A crime scene has been put in place following the incident.

No arrests have been made as police enquiries continue.

A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at about 17:10hrs on Sunday, 14 May to Crystal Palace Parade at the junction with Anerley Hill, SE19 following reports of a male stabbed.

“Officers attended and found a 14-year-old boy with stab injuries.

“He was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service where he remains in a critical condition.

“Officers remain in the area and a crime scene is in place.

“There have been no arrests and enquiries continue.

“Anyone with information is asked to call police via 101 quoting reference CAD 5123/14May.”
