A woman has been rushed to hospital after a crash in Thamesmead.

The incident between a pedestrian and a car happened in Lister Walk just before 8.30am yesterday (April 25).

Officers and London Ambulance Service crews were called to the scene.

Two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic, and an incident response officer also attended.

A woman was found with a leg and a minor head injury.

She was taken to a major trauma centre where her condition was assessed as not life-threatening.

Another person was also treated at the scene but did not require further treatment.

No arrests have been made following the incident.

Road closures were put in place but have since been lifted.

The full statement from London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 8.33am yesterday (25 April) to reports of a road traffic collision in Lister Walk, Thamesmead.

“We sent two ambulance crews, a paramedic in a fast response car, an advanced paramedic and an incident response officer to the scene.

“We treated a patient for a leg injury and a minor head injury and took her to a major trauma centre as a priority. We also checked over a second patient at the scene.”

“The pedestrian was taken to hospital; injuries not life-threatening. No arrests.”
