Police were called to a Thamesmead street this morning (April 20) after reports than a woman had been assaulted.
Police attended Crowden Way at around 11.37am and established the woman had not been assaulted.
Reports on social media discussed that an air ambulance had been seen in the area and that there was prominent police presence.
There has been no further police involvement relating to the incident.
London Ambulance Service and London Air Ambulance has been approached for further information.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: Police were called at 11.37am on Thursday, April 20 to reports that a woman had been assaulted in Crowden Way, SE28.
“Officers attended and established the woman had not been assaulted. There was no further police involvement.”
