A man in his early 20s has been taken to hospital after a stabbing in Belvedere.
Officers were called to reports of a disturbance in Sutherland Road just before 4.30pm today (April 16).
A search of the area was carried out by police and a man was found with stab injuries.
He was taken to hospital for treatment where his condition is currently unknown.
A male suspect, with no further details, has been arrested following the incident.
Multiple crime scenes have been put in place.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called at 16:24hrs on Sunday, 16 April to Sutherland Road, Belvedere to reports of a disturbance.
“Officers responded and following a search of the area a man aged in his early 20s was located with stab injuries.
“He has been taken to hospital; we await an assessment of his condition.
“One man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“A number of crime scenes are in place.”
