A BROMLEY councillor has been re-elected to a committee which works to improve the capital's transport system and environment.
Bromley Council portfolio holder for environment and leisure Councillor Colin Smith has been re-elected for a second successive year as deputy chairman of the London Councils transport and environment committee (TEC).
TEC is made up of councillors from every London borough and Transport for London.
It lobbies to ensure that any transport, environment, waste and recycling policy put forward by the government, Mayor of London, or the European Union benefits London.
Cllr Smith said: "I'm grateful and proud to be given this great honour.
"We will be working to try and get London a fairer slice of the cake than has been the case in recent years."
