CYCLISTS have successfully completed a 640km charity ride across the Pyrenees.
Twenty-three riders plus three drivers with support vans took seven days to ride from Biarritz in France to Barcelona in Spain.
The cyclists, who range in age from their twenties to their fifties, have so far raised more than £66,000 for the Children's Trust rehabilitation centre for children with brain injuries based in Tadworth, Surrey.
Organiser Jamie Macpherson, of Tredown Road, Sydenham, says those who took part all love cycling and wanted a challenge.
He said: "It was far far harder than expected. Freezing temperatures, torrential rain, snowdrifts and extra mountains we didn't even know were there."
