A 46-YEAR-OLD man was arrested after police uncovered a suspected cannabis factory.
The Swanley man was arrested on Monday (June 9) after police found around 1,000 plants at various stages of growth in a house in Margate the day before.
A Kent Police spokesman said: "We found evidence of cannabis cultivation in six rooms at the address.
"A crime scene investigation is being carried out and samples of the plants have been sent for scientific analysis."
The man was bailed pending further police inquiries.
