Situated in Bexleyheath, Masala Inn Restaurant takes the top spot on Tripadvisor for romantic restaurants in the borough.

The spot serves Indian, Asian, Balti and Bangladeshi cuisine.

One diner, who visited the spot in February this year, said: "Another wonderful night at the masala inn with Kaz and his wonderful friendly staff.

"The food is above exceptional, such great food and all cooked to how you want it - thanks again for another wonderful meal."

Toscana

This romantic, Italian restaurant can be found in Sidcup and is an excellent contender for your Valentine's Day celebrations.

Reviewers rave about the pasta and seafood served at Toscana.

A review posted in February reads: "Me and partner go here often and we think it’s the best restaurant in Sidcup.

"The food is alway excellent and the staff are lovely.

"It’s also so reasonable. We love and would highly recommend."

At the heart of the borough, Bexley Kitchen can be found on Bexley High Street.

The Mediterranean restaurant is known for friendly service.

A diner who visited Bexley Kitchen in November 2022 said: "We have visited Bexley Kitchen regularly over the last year.

"The service and food are faultless every single time.

"It’s well worth a visit and definitely worth getting the steak.

"The team there are lovely, always helpful and friendly, nothing is ever too much."

Pascal Bistro is a romantic spot in Sidcup raved about by those who have visited.

The restaurant is known for serving French and European-style food.

One diner who ate at Pascal Bistro in December 2022 said: "Excellent quality of food and a very impressive friendly service.

"I had frogs legs to start and fillet steak for main - both were delicious.

"For dessert, I had chocolate moose which was exquisite."

A diner who visited Shampan Welling in January this year rated the restaurant a 10/10.

"The staff were brilliant and the food was lovely.
