ALL drivers involved in a collision will be breath-tested by police in a campaign to crack down on drink and drug driving.
From June 1, Kent police have been testing drivers involved in road traffic accidents throughout Dartford and Gravesham.
This is part of a countywide campaign to help keep Kent's roads safe.
Inspector Paul Sellwood from the force's serious collision investigation unit said: "I would warn motorists to think about the consequences of being caught committing an offence."
He added: "At best you risk a fine, a mandatory ban for one or more years or an increase in insurance premiums.
"At worst you risk losing your job or going to jail."
Around two people are killed on Kent's roads each week.
Statistics show one in six of these deaths is attributable to someone driving under the influence of drink or drugs.
