PUPILS at Oakwood School were among children across Bexley who have been taking a stand against bullying.
The Big Stand involved adults and children standing for two minutes as part of a national Beat Bullying campaign.
Schools across Bexley, including Oakwood School, Woodside Road, Bexleyheath, were encouraged to take part.
Bexley Council's anti-bullying project team took the message into Bexleyheath town centre, with an information stall in the Broadway offering advice on how to deal with bullying.
Council cabinet member for schools Councillor Simon Windle said: "Bullying of any kind can ruin lives.
"We are lucky to have a fantastic anti-bullying project and members of staff in Bexley who are on hand to offer help to children, parents, carers and schools."
