PUPILS have enjoyed the appliance of science at a school event.
Year 8 and Year 9 students from Bromley High School, Blackbrook Lane, Bickley, watched presentations and took part in themed activities during the day-long event.
These included students making their own cosmetics in chemistry and learning the physics behind juggling.
Teacher Dr Snehal Desai, who organised the event for 150 girls, said: "We wanted to promote science to the students and show them how exciting and fun it can be.
"We also wanted to open their horizons as to possible future careers and further education choices in the scientific field."
Student Natalie Sullivan, 14, said: "I enjoyed making hand cream because it was good to take a product home I had made myself and then be able to use it."
