PUPILS have laced up their running shoes to help improve facilities in their school.
Children at Farnborough Primary School raised £2,000 by running laps around a course on the school field.
Around 200 pupils took part in the annual sponsored fun run, with infant children running for a total of five minutes and the juniors completing 10 minutes.
Paula Farrow, headteacher at the school in Farnborough Hill, said: "Our annual fun run is a fabulous event. All the children look forward to it and participate enthusiastically.
"A big thank you to our parent organisation for organising such a wonderful event."
The cash will be spent on improving the sports facilities in the school, including the football pitches.
