A picture from the scene of a crash in Bexleyheath shows a car left completely smashed up.
The incident between a motorcyclist and a car happened in Watling Street at 1pm on December 25.
Officers and London Ambulance Service were called to the scene.
The rider of the motorbike, a man, was taken hospital for treatment.
His injuries were assessed as not life-threatening.
The picture was taken by a passer-by one month after the incident on January 22.
It shows the car involved in the crash abandoned on the side of the road.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “Police were called by the London Ambulance Service shortly before 1pm on Sunday, 25 December to reports of a collision involving a car and motorbike on Watling Street in Bexleyheath.
“Emergency services attended.
"The male rider was taken to hospital; his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.”
A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.46pm on 25 December to reports of a road traffic collision in Watling Street, Bexleyheath.
“We sent an ambulance crew to the scene.
“We treated a patient at the scene and took him to hospital.”
