Police were given extra powers in the areas surrounding Plumstead Road in Greenwich following anti-social behaviour by a group of youths.
Inspector Beeching authorised a section 35 CJPOA dispersal area which means that PSCO's in uniform have the power to exclude a person from an area for a period of up to 48 hours.
This was launched at 10.30pm last night (January 7) and set to last until 5am today (January 8).

A spokesperson for Greenwich Metropolitan Police said: "Following antisocial behaviour involving a large group of youths in Plumstead Road SE18 this evening, a Section 35 CJPOA dispersal area has been authorised by Insp Beeching from 2230hrs on 07/01/23 to 0500hrs on 08/01/23 with the area shown in the attached map.
