A woman has been raped in a park in Plumstead during the early hours last night.
At around 4am on Friday December 30, the victim reported that she had been raped in the area of Villas Road.
Villas Road leads onto a large open greenspace.
Police say that no arrests have been made at this stage and enquiries are ongoing.
A spokesperson for Metropolitan Police said: “At 3:59am on Friday, 30 December a female attended a police station to report that she had been raped in the vicinity of Villas Road SE18.
“There have been no arrests and enquiries are ongoing.”
