Two men have been arrested following an attempted burglary at a Co-op in New Eltham in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
On December 27 at 3.03am a Co-op in Footscray Road, New Eltham, was the target for an attempted burglary.

Both men were bailed pending further enquries.
Two men, aged 49 and 32, were arrested near the scene of the crime.

A spokesperson for Met Police said: “Police are investigating an attempted burglary that is reported to have occurred at a shop in Footscray Road, New Eltham, at around 3.30am on Tuesday, 27 December.
"Two men, aged 49 and 32, were arrested near to the scene on suspicion of attempted burglary and subsequently bailed while further enquiries take place.”
A spokesperson for Co-op said: “There was an incident at our New Eltham store in the early hours of Tuesday 27 December while the store was closed.
“The store currently remains closed and we’re working at speed to re-open to serve the local community.
"We appeal for anyone who may have seen or heard anything to come forward to the Police, who are investigating.”
