A man has been arrested after 89 cannisters of Nitrous Oxide were found inside a car in Deptford.

Officers pulled over a black Audi A3 yesterday (December 22) just before 2.30pm on Grinstead Road.

Police say the car had been known to police recently and it appeared to have some cosmetic damage.

Officers found 89 cannisters with 0.95 litres each filled with Nitrous Oxide.

When questioning the suspect, police asked why he had these.
