A PERSON has been left with life-threatening injuries after an incident at Bromley South station.

A casualty on the tracks was reported to the police at 5.38pm yesterday (November 7).

An ambulance crew, members of the hazardous area response team, an incident response officer, a team leader in a car, a medic in a fast response car, and an air ambulance attended the scene. 

The person was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital. 

The incident is not being treated as suspicious.

A spokesperson for British Transport Police said : “We were called to Bromley South station at 5.38pm yesterday (7 November) following reports of a casualty on the tracks.

“Paramedics also attended, and a person was taken to hospital for treatment to life-threatening injuries.

“The incident is not being treated as suspicious."

A spokesperson for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called today (November 7) at 5.41pm to reports of an incident at Bromley South Railway Station, Bromley.

“We sent a number of resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, members of our hazardous area response team (HART), an incident response officer, a team leader in a car, and a medic in a fast response car. We also dispatched London’s Air Ambulance.  

"We treated a person at the scene, before taking them to a major trauma centre as a priority."
